Nihat: Real Sociedad favourites for championship

Turkish striker Nihat Kahveci says Real Sociedad are favourites for this season's championship.

Nihat struck the winner in Sunday's 1-0 win over Recreativo to keep Sociedad a point ahead of Real Madrid.

He said last night: "We are favorites, we have taken the leadership at the best moment because we only have four games left, we are first and we depend on ourselves to win the La Liga."

"We want to finish first, but at least second because we want to enter the Champions League directly and not depend on qualifiers."

"First we want to be champion, but it's crucial we finish at least second."
