Newcastle would consider loan for Real Madrid's Woodgate

Newcastle United would only consider signing Jonathan Woodgate on-loan from Real Madrid.

Reports suggest United could try and tempt Woodgate back to St James' Park from Real Madrid in a cut-price £6m deal in January, but the Evening Chronicle says the only way the central defender will be back is on loan.
