Newcastle, Man Utd target Portillo interested in Real Madrid loan

Real Madrid strikers Tote and Javier Portillo insist they won't be seeking a move away in January.

Both players have been relegated to the fringes of the squad following Ronaldo's arrival in the summer.

But Tote insisted: "I already knew it was going to be difficult. I am realistic."

"My plan is to stay here until June, enjoy myself and then see what happens."

Portillo, who has been linked with Manchester United and Newcastle United this year, also said: "There were other teams interested in me over the summer, but I am happy here."

"I would only be interested in leaving Real Madrid on-loan."
