Newcastle keen on Real Madrid defender Woodgate

Newcastle United remain interested in Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate.

The club are keen to bring Woodgate back on a pay-as-you-play basis, although they are also eyeing Sol Campbell's situation at Arsenal.

Woody is training with Leeds United and Real are expected to cut their losses once a new president is installed over the summer.
