Newcastle, Everton wait as Macca seeks Real Madrid payout

Steve McManaman will quit Real Madrid for a return to the Premiership once the Spanish champs agree to a £1.5 million payout.

The England midfielder still has a year of his £60,000-a-week contract to run, but has reportedly told Real he will quit the club if they can agree terms on a golden handshake.

Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle and favourites Everton are all queuing up to speak with Macca once he is granted a free transfer.
