New York Cosmos signing Raul: Real Madrid return can wait

New York Cosmos signing Raul feels he'll eventually return to Real Madrid.

Raul was unveiled to the world's media yesterday in New York.

"I’ve signed for two years, but it could be a lot more. I’ve come to one of the best cities in the world to live. We’ll see. Maybe I’ll play for one, two, three years... Or in six months my body will say that’s enough and I’ll devote myself full time to the academy," he said.

"Everyone always said go to Real Madrid, go to Real Madrid, but I feel like that will come, that I need to gain experience first. You don't just go to Real Madrid to coach without experience. It is not the same playing as it is training, so I am excited to do this here. If I return to Spain I’ll work for Madrid. It’s my house, where I developed, where I have friends, but right now I’m focused on this project."
