New Real Madrid signing set for Bernabeu unveiling

Los Blancos will parade Alvaro Morata in front of their fans on Monday.

As is tradition for Real Madrid’s first-team acquisitions, Alvaro Morata will take to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu pitch to meet the fans.

The official ceremony will take place inside the stadium at 13:00 CET on Monday, and will be followed by the forward returning to the Madrid turf for a short display in front of supporters, typically involving keepy-uppies and a fair bit of waving.

Costing just €30 million, Morata is Real’s only big-name signing of the summer so far, after the club took up a buy-back option on the Madrid-born striker to seal his move back home.
