New Real Madrid Signing Huntelaar Ready To Face Villarreal

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is well on track to make his Los Blancos debut first thing in the New Year.

Real Madrid’s €20 million winter arrival, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, looks set to make his bow in the famous white shirt on January 4, 2009.

The Dutchman is well on schedule to recover from the ankle injury he had been carrying even before he signed for Los Blancos, and he is now in his final stretch of rehabilitation. And according to Marca, he could be ready to make his debut against Villarreal when La Liga resumes in the New Year.

Huntelaar is currently back home in the Netherlands to celebrate the Christmas holidays and continue with his specific recovery program. He is expected to join up with the rest of the squad for normal training on December 29.
