New Getafe signings fire barb at Real Madrid

Getafe unveiled new signings Ruben de la Red and Esteban Granero yesterday.

The midfield pair arrive from Real Madrid and Granero said: "Madrid should give more opportunities to their junior players when they can. Sometimes you do not get a chance and need to leave to show them what you can do."

De la Red, whose deal includes a buy-back option, added: "You hope they will take it, but I am now a Getafe player and will only focus on doing well here. I know that I will have more chances to play here than I would at the Santiago Bernabeu."
