Napoli: Real Madrid's Cassano a dream

Napoli have all but ruled out a move for Real Madrid striker Antonio Cassano.

The Real Madrid enigma could quit the Spanish giants in January, but the Azzurri have today dismissed suggestions that they may net the Italian international as a result.

"Cassano could be a dream, or a nightmare, because all dreams can turn out to be unattainable," stated director general Pierpaolo Marino.

"We are not thinking about Cassano at all because his proposed capture wouldn't be in line with our club strategy."
