Mourinho: Real Madrid's Beckham not good for Chelsea

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho says he isn't interested in signing Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham.

Beckham has been linked with the London giants, but Mourinho says he does not believe he could add anything to his midfield.

"It is not anything against David Beckham, not because I do not like the player or the person. Simply because for his position in the field and the form in which he plays, he does not seem good for our team," Mourinho told A Bola.

"I will be making a big name signing next season. We have a shortlist and it will be a great player because only the best can add to a squad that is so well balanced."
