Mourinho: Real Madrid have changed their mentality under me

Jose Mourinho believes he's managed to change the mental state of his Real Madrid players after victory over AC Milan.

Real were comfortable throughout the 2-0 Champions League triumph.

"I always expect a difficult game, but it seems to me that we started with a fantastic approach that was just too fast for Milan. We scored two quickly and could’ve got a third," said Mourinho.

"It was a test of intelligence for my team to know how to handle the situation and the tempo."

"These are three valuable points for a very young side against a Milan outfit with immense experience."

"The team is working well and improving. The names may suggest they are not great professionals, but the so-called Galacticos are hard-workers who know they have to put the effort in."
