Mourinho pleased with Real Madrid form after Hercules triumph

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho was pleased with their performance in victory over Hercules.

Mourinho praised his side's display and also said two-goal hero Karim Benzema was "better than ever".

He said: "I'm very happy with the team, although I didn't like the first half much. Games preceding and following Champions League encounters are always difficult to play."

"In the second half we were better and Hercules had less of the ball."
