Mourinho influence convinces Pepe to commit to Real Madrid deal

Pepe is ready to sign new terms with Real Madrid.

AS says the great contract saga is about to come to an end in Real's favour.

Pepe had been demanding a new salary of €6 million, while Real's counter offer was for €3.5 million.

However, after intervention from coach Jose Mourinho, a compromise has been struck.

Pepe will sign a deal worth €3.8 million-a-year which will run until 2015.
