Mourinho fires warning at Real Madrid players: Do not lose Copa tie

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho has fired a warning at his players ahead of their Copa tie with Murcia.

Mourinho says he is taking the game very seriously.

After victory over Racing Santander, Mourinho declared: "Great coaches and great players can’t allow themselves to feel euphoria for so little. We want to achieve things that are much more important than this."

"We have to start working on our game against Murcia as of now. Ozil, Carvalho and Xabi Alonso will have a three-day holiday. The rest will be called-up for the match."

“Benzema will be a starter, and so will Ronaldo. It is a very important game to me. If last year’s situation repeats itself, I will cross those who play off my list because they will be dead to me."
