Morientes suffers injury setback

Real striker Fernando Morientes will be out of action for around two weeks after sustaining a muscle sprain.

The 25-year-old underwent a magnetic scan at the club's clinic on Wednesday when doctors determined the extent of the injury. And it has now been estimated that Moro will be out for a period of between 10 and 15 days, which means that he will miss Real's games against Real Betis, Lokomotiv Moscow, Espanyol and possibly Anderlecht.

Real coach Vicente Del Bosque is hoping that the player will have recovered in time for the league match against Valladolid on September 30.
