Morientes: Real Madrid pals envy Liverpool success

Fernando Morientes has revealed former Real Madrid teammates are jealous of Liverpool's success.
 
Morientes, 30, revealed: "It is true to say that Madrid have not enjoyed the best of times over the last few years."

"While the people there I keep in touch with, such as Iker Casillas and Michel Salgado, haven't shown jealousy exactly, they have been envious because I'm playing for this club with a great stature in Spain."

"Liverpool have a really big standing in Spain, they always have had. And yes, they are envious of the success we've had."
