Morientes is staying with Madrid - Perez

Florentino Pérez, Real Madrid's president, says that Fernando Morientes will be playing for Real Madrid this upcoming season.

Morientes, who was on loan at Monaco this season, has rejuvenated his career following an excellent campaign in France.

His top quality performances have attracted the interest of several big European clubs.

However, according to Pérez, Morientes is not for sale and the club is counting on him for the upcoming season.

Newly appointed manager Jose Antonio Camacho is also said to be keen on Morientes, so don't expect the veteran striker to be on the move this summer.
