Morientes And Solari Don't Want To Leave Madrid

Spanish daily Marca have today reported that Fernando Morientes and Santiago Solari have rejected moves away from the Spanish capital.

The Merengues had agreed a fee of around 9 million euros for Morientes with German club Schalke, but after listening to the Bundesliga side's offer, Morientes realised that he'd be making a financial sacrifice by moving on.

Meanwhile, a Lazio delegation arrived at the Bernabeu on Monday with a view to signing Solari, but the Argentine was not interested in joining the Rome club.
