More injury woe for Real Madrid midfielder Kaka

Real Madrid ace Kaka has suffered a new injury setback.

The 28 year-old has been out of action for 18 months, but collected a knock to the knee upon his playing return.

He subsequently underwent scans which uncovered an oedema - an accumulation of fluid - on the knee.

A Madrid statement today read: "Treatment includes fitness work in the gymnasium and on the pitch, as well as complementary physiotherapy.

"The player is expected to miss 15 days and his progress will be monitored."
