Moratti: Real Madrid priced Ronaldo out of Inter Milan return

Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti says Real Madrid priced Ronaldo out of a return to the San Siro over the summer.
 
"We believed we could have done something," said Moratti. "But there wasn't genuine contact. Real were asking an excessive price."

Asked about his intention to bring more Italians to the club, Moratti added: "Yes, it's been a slow process. With the market the way it is, we've only managed to bring in Fabio Grosso so far."

"But soon more will arrive. And you cannot forget the young players who are already here, like Andreolli."
