MLS court Real Madrid star Beckham

MLS is threatening Premiership hopes of luring Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham back to England.

The News of the World says Beckham is to be offered a multi-million-pound contract to end his career in the United States by ambitious MLS authorities.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy confirmed last week he was keen to bring Beckham back to England in the summer and was banking on the England captain's London roots to tempt him home.
