Milan make Barcelona approach over Tomasson-Motta swap

AC Milan have approached Barcelona about a straight swap involving Jon Dahl Tomasson and Thiago Motta.
Motta enjoyed an impressive game against Juventus in Turin on Wednesday evening and enjoys a growing reputation in Serie A circles.

Through their Spanish-based representative, Ernesto Bronzetti, Milan made the offer during the week.

Though no figures have been put on the table, it's understood Barca have received the enquiry with some enthusiasm.
