Milan leave Inzaghi out of Real match

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has decided to leave striker Filippo Inzaghi out of the squad for his side's Champions League match against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

The Italian international, who has scored 11 goals in the competition this season, was not on the team list announced on the club's official website on Monday.

His place is taken by Brazilian Leonardo.

Inzaghi is currently fit and played for 90 minutes in his side's 0-0 Serie A draw with Chievo Verona at the weekend.

But with Milan already comfortably qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Ancelotti has decided to rest Inzaghi ahead of this weekend's Serie A game with Reggina.

Milan are six points behind leaders Juventus.
