Milan join Arsenal in monitoring Real Madrid's Guti

AC Milan are monitoring Jose Guti's situation at Real Madrid.

The versatile 26 year-old attacker admitted over the weekend he was frustrated with the lack of regular senior action he was seeing this season and was considering his options.

Guti has also been tracked by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, who could bid for the Spanish international as he looks for a long-term replacement for Dennis Bergkamp.

Milan have made tentative enquiries to Guti's representatives, but have never made an official approach to Real about the striker's availability.

Italian reports yesterday suggested that if Guti was to leave Real, then the Premiership would be the most likely destination.
