Milan eye Karanka

AC Milan are reported to be interested in signing Real central defender Aitor Karanka on completion of his contract with the Merengues next June.

According to Italian daily 'Tuttosport', Milan see Karanka as the ideal man to replace Alessandro Costacurta next season.

Karanka's demands for a new two-year deal have not been met by Real and his recent omission from the team list could prompt the player to make a summer exit from the Bernabeu.
