Mijatovic Satisfied With Narrow Win

Real Madrid sporting director Pedja Mijatovic was pleased with his team's display despite having to wait until the final minutes to secure qualification.

A last gasp strike from Guti saw Real Madrid defeat Alicante 2-1 and qualify for the last sixteen of the Copa Del Rey 3-2 on aggregate.

It was a match the Merengues struggled in, something Bernd Schuster admitted after the game.

However, Pedja Mijatovic seemed satisfied.

"The most important thing was to make it to the next round," he said. "We could have scored more goals because we had many chances, but we didn't."
