Mijatovic: Real Madrid happy with Capello

Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic insists the club is fully behind coach Fabio Capello after Sunday's poor defeat at Deportivo La Coruna.

Mijatovic held crunch talks with Capello on Sunday evening and emerged to tell reporters: "We have great faith in our trainer. He is a man who has experienced several similar situations and he has always ended up gaining good results and fulfilling the planned objectives."

"Therefore in this sense, there is no problem. I am convinced that we are going to rise from this situation."

He added: "During these months we have met several times with the squad to look at the problems. The players know perfectly well that this attitude and this form cannot continue. They realise they must change."
