Middlesbrough's Geremi insists: I haven't heard from Man Utd

On-loan Middlesbrough star Geremi has denied that he is on the verge of signing for Manchester United.

The Cameroon international is on-loan from European giants Real Madrid and has been in exhilarating form this season, netting seven times in 33 appearances from midfield.

But the prospect of Geremi staying at the Riverside looks bleak, with United and Arsenal willing to meet Real Madrid's demand of £9.6 million for the player.

However, Geremi has told reporters, "Neither myself or my agent has been approached by Manchester United."
