Middlesbrough's £3M Geremi offer well short of Real Madrid price

Middlesbrough are well away from reaching an agreement with Real Madrid for midfielder Geremi.

The Cameroon international is rated in the £10 million class by Real and club chiefs have indicated they want him at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.

Boro remain hopeful of landing Geremi, but so far have only managed to offer £3 million for the 24 year-old - which falls well short of Real's asking price.
