Middlesbrough in talks with Real Madrid's Flavio

Middlesbrough are close to clinching a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Flavio Conceicao.

The Evening Gazette says the 28-year-old Brazilian is in talks with Boro with a view to a one-year loan deal.

Flavio needs to agree personal terms, but indications are that Boro will land the midfielder before the end of the week.
