Real Madrid have announced details of their new four-year partnership with technology powerhouse Microsoft, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The agreement, designed to accelerate the ‘digital transformation of the club through technology’, will see Microsoft become the strategic technological partner of the Uefa Champions League champions.

According to a Forbes report, the contract, announced in Madrid on Tuesday, is worth US$30 million over four years.

As part of the deal, Microsoft will roll out of a host of digital initiatives for Real fans, including the launch of a new digital platform set to carry exclusive content and virtual experiences within the Santiago Bernabéu stadium.

The agreement will also see Real players and staff use a host of Microsoft’s service and devices with the aim of enhancing the team’s performance and efficiency.
