Michel talks break down with Real Madrid

Negotiations between Real Madrid and Michel have broken down.

The Real legend was being lined up for a major role with the club, either as the head of the Academy or sports director.

But he revealed yesterday: "I spoke with Emilio Butragueño on several occasions and he did not convince me with his offer."

Michel is now expected to remain with Spanish TV.
