Michel recommends Codina for Real Madrid senior squad

Real Madrid B coach Michel is backing his goalkeeper Jordi Codina to be added to the senior squad next season.

Michel has recommended Codina to Real sports director Pedja Mijatovic in the event that Diego Lopez, who is attracting interest from Villarreal, leaves over the summer.

Codina would be promoted to work as understudy to Real No1 Iker Casillas. Third-string keeper Kiko Casillas could also leave Real at the end of the season.
