Michel praise for Real Madrid signing Sergio

Real Madrid B coach Michel has praised the ambition shown by Espanyol defender Sergio Sanchez.

The young centre-half gave up a Primera career with Espanyol to take a chance with the Castella in January, where he has signed on-loan.

Michel says they're ready to take up the option of signing Sergio permanently - which could lead the youngster to eventually being added to Real's senior squad.

"He preferred to take his chance with us than stay with Espanyol, where he had a place and was rated by his coach," said Michel. "We are very happy with him."
