Michael Jordan to star at Real

Basketball legend Michael Jordan has been invited to take part in Real's 100th birthday celebrations which are due to get underway next year.

The Madrilenos are planning to hold a special match at the Bernabeu in September 2002 which will feature Jordan and his famous Wizards taking on Sergio Scaiolo's Real Madrid side.

Real, who turn 100 on March 6th, are also planning some spectacular footballing activities - matches are being organized against France, Portugal, Japan and possibly even Brazil against New York's Metrostars.
