Mexican legend Sanchez wants Real Madrid coaching job

Pumas coach Hugo Sanchez has put his hand up to coach Real Madrid next season.

The Real legend is regarded as the hottest young coach in Mexico and he declared that next year he sees himself taking his first coaching job in Europe.

"My contract expires on the 15th of December and I am reflecting on my future. I feel motivated and prepared to make the jump to Europe," said Sanchez.

"It has been said by some that I do not have the European experience to coach there. But playing in Spain, having won what I won, already is sufficient to know how things work."

"Now, after being a coach during these four years I am prepared."

On a return to Real Madrid, Sanchez added: "Butragueño and the president knows what my dream and what my objective is. They know that one of my dreams is to be able to direct Real Madrid in the future.

"There was some contact with Getafe last season and there are some offers from European clubs, but nothing official."
