Menotti Issues Ronaldo Blast

Luis Caesar Menotti, the former Barcelona and Argentina coach, has launched a stinging attack on Real Madrid striker Ronaldo.

"Young players are not hungry to learn something new day to day," he said. "98 percent of players do not know how to play football."

"Ronaldo does not know how to play football, Makelele plays better than him."

"I am not saying that he (Ronaldo) is a donkey, but that he does not understand when to play a pass and when to hold onto the ball. A good footballer is the type that can achieve more than simply what he can do when on the ball."
