Meija fumes at Real Madrid GM Sacchi

Real Madrid defender Alvaro Meija held crunch talks with general manager Arrigo Sacchi on Thursday after he was blocked from moving away on-loan.

Meija is furious that Real chose to sign Sevilla defender Sergio Ramos on transfer deadline day - which effectively has left him cooling his heels again on the sidelines.

Celta Vigo were in advanced talks with Meija before Real shut the door on any move. But with Ramos now signed, the young centre-half is furious that he will have to wait until December to find a new club and regular first team football.
