Mega Japanese Zidane offer rejected by Real Madrid

Real Madrid midfield ace Zinedine Zidane was the subject of a mega offer from a Japanese club during the winter market, it has been revealed.

Marca says Zidane's agent, Alain Miglaccio, was approached by a major Japanese car company, which sponsors the unnamed J-League club, about the possibility of bringing the French star to Japan.

Miglaccio immediately contacted Real president Florentino Perez about the offer, making him aware of the huge sale his club could make on the veteran.

But despite Zidane likely to have only 18 months left at Real, Perez informed Miglaccio: "Zidane is not for sale at any price."
