McManaman set for Real return

Steve McManaman is expected to be drafted into the Real side to host Malaga on Saturday night in place of the suspended Luis Figo.

Iker Casillas is expected to keep his place in goal behind a back four of Michel Salgado, Fernando Hierro, Aitor Karanka and Roberto Carlos. Flavio Concecaio will retain his place in midfield alongside Claude Makelele, while support for lone striker Fernando Morientes will come from McManaman, Zinedine Zidane and Raul.

Malaga, who hit six goals past Real last season, have promised to go out fighting and according to their coach Joaquin Peiro, they will not be settling for a draw.
The game kicks of at 9pm at the Bernabeu.
