McManaman can be England solution

Manchester City boss Kevin Keegan is convinced new signing Steve McManaman can play his way back into the England setup.

Keegan said: "I had Steve playing for England on the left and that is still a problem position for them."

"He is an international class player and we can give him the platform to show it."

McManaman said, "I haven't spoken to the England manager in a long time but I'm not frustrated by that. I'm not the kind of person who dwells on those things."
