Mascherano: Barcelona, Depor, Real Madrid have all contacted me

River Plate midfielder Javier Mascherano has confirmed contact with three of Spain's biggest clubs.

"In addition to Real Madrid, there is interest from Deportivo La Coruna and Barcelona," said Mascherano yesterday.

"But for now I am happy at River Plate."

"I have a European passport that would smooth any move to a club in Europe."
