Martin to oversee massive Real Madrid clearout

Real Madrid president Fernando Martin is ready to oversee one of the biggest overhauls of the club's playing staff in modern history.

Real's Champions League exit last night at Arsenal has convinced Martin to begin the clearout, with Ronaldo headlining the big-name exit list.

Zinedine Zidane, Ivan Helguera, Antonio Cassano, Roberto Carlos and Thomas Gravesen will also be shown the door by Martin at the end of this season.
