Mancini rules out Real Madrid's Ronaldo for Inter Milan

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has moved quickly to end speculation of a possible return to the club for Real Madrid star Ronaldo.

"We have other things to think about right now," he stated. "I've never coached him. He is a great player but that doesn't mean he'll come back here."

"We're thinking of other things and I think he is too, as Real are still hoping to catch Barcelona at the top of La Liga."

Ronaldo controversially turned his back on Inter in the summer of 2002 after Real came knocking for his services.

"It is difficult to make judgements. It was hard from the outside to understand why he left," added Mancini.

"I was disappointed because it seemed as if Ronaldo had a good relationship with the club."

"Perhaps they should have continued together but certain decisions need to be made sometimes."
