Mancini: Adriano happy at Inter Milan

Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini has played down reports that Adriano could be on his way to Real Madrid in the summer.

The Brazilian striker, who is currently sidelined with a thigh injury, hinted earlier this week to the Spanish media of his desire to play for the European giants - comments which came as a surprise to the Nerazzurri.

"We consider Adriano a fantastic player, a giant," said Mancini. "But we forget that he is only 22 years old and that he is sensitive."

"When a player speaks in this way it's because maybe he needs to be given more support from the coach, his team-mates and the club executives."

The fans can breathe a sigh of relief with Adriano now confirming he is not going anywhere, at least for the time being.

"When I spoke about my dream to play for Real Madrid, I was thinking about doing it in seven or eight years time, not now or in the near future," he explained.

"What I really want to do is to win the Champions League with Inter."
