Man Utd watch as Real Madrid open Casillas talks

Real Madrid have opened new contract talks with goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

The Spanish international has attracted interest from Manchester United, with his current deal running out in 2006.

Marca says Real president Florentino Perez had dinner with Casillas' agent, Gines Carvajal, when the foundations were laid for official negotiations over a new, long-term contract.
