Man Utd watch as Raul rejects new Real Madrid deal

Manchester United are monitoring Raul's situation at Real Madrid.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rates the Spanish ace as the best player in the world and has been encouraged by news that Raul had rejected the opportunity to extend his deal.

Raul's agent Gines Carvajal, said: "Raul is in no hurry to talk about a new contract. It is not in his interests."

Ferguson would love to get one over Real after losing David Beckham to the Spanish giants and also seeing their interference bunk up PSG's asking price for Ronaldinho.
