Man Utd trump Juventus, Real Madrid with 'agreement' for Sporting pair

Manchester United are expected to complete the signing of Sporting Lisbon wonder-kids Ricardo Quaresma and Cristiano Ronaldo in the coming months.

Both the Portuguese and English press are reporting that United have come to an agreement with Sporting that they will sign both teenagers at the end of the season.

The deal was brokered after United and Sporting established their alliance over Christmas.

Quaresma has been on the wanted lists of Real Madrid and Juventus this season, while Ronaldo is interesting Barcelona.

United had a £6 million offer for the pair rejected by Sporting last season. But will return with an improved bid in the coming months.
