Man Utd target Solari waits on Real Madrid

Despite his superb performance in the Copa del Rey during the week, Santiago Solari refused to demand a new contract from Real Madrid.

The Argentina international's current deal expires in the summer and he has been linked with Manchester United. Solari insists he is prepared to wait for Real to decide whether they want to hold onto him or not.

He told Marca: "I respect all the decisions of Madrid and I imagine that it must be very difficult to make compatible a strategy involving marketing with a football balance."

"The best way to secure my future is by giving my maximum for the club. Later, my future will decide itself. I am calm."
